*SEATING
Due to the number of people attending graduation, please plan to arrive early. Each Graduate will receive 4 field seating tickets. There is plenty of General Admission seating in the bleachers also. The gates will open at 6:00 pm. We ask that everyone is seated by 7:45 pm so we may begin promptly at 8:00 pm. Gates will close at 7:45 pm and NOT reopen whether you have a ticket or not.
Please be respectful and be on time. If any of your guests will be attending with a certified service animal please contact Mrs. McCauley at 775-727-7737 ext. 3227, so we may make seating arrangements for the safety of the service animal.
*PARKING
Please carpool whenever possible. You will receive a map and instructions with your seating tickets for spectator parking. Overflow parking will be available at JG Johnson with buses running approximately every 15 minutes. Buses will begin running at 6:00 pm and the last bus will leave PVHS at 9:45 pm. Pick up and drop off will be in front of the school. Please plan accordingly.
*DURING THE CEREMONY
No outside food or drink will be allowed. Water will be sold for $1.00 on the premises as a school fundraiser. Please remember there is no smoking allowed on school property (this also includes electronic cigarettes/vapors, etc.). This is a formal event for our seniors; therefore, we ask people to remain seated during the ceremony at all times. This includes young children. They are not allowed to run around on the field. If you are bringing small children please be sure they can sit for the entire ceremony. Be considerate of all in attendance by remaining seated and courteous throughout the ceremony. Professional pictures will be taken during the ceremony. Be considerate of all in attendance and remain seated throughout the entire ceremony. KPVM-TV will be videoing the entire ceremony and will be taking orders at Graduation. No balloons, signs, flowers, etc. If you bring these types of gifts, please leave them in your car until after the ceremony and present them in the reception area. They will not be allowed through the gates.
**Warning**
At the conclusion of the ceremony, there will be a brief fireworks display behind the stage in celebration of the graduates. Please be aware of anyone in your party with sensitivity to loud noises and plan accordingly. Additionally, as part of our commitment to ensuring a safe and secure environment for all attendees, Nye County Sheriff's Office will oversee a metal detector and x-ray machine for personal belongings to screen all spectators as they arrive.
